Last year's conference was held at the luxurious Paradise Point Resort & Spa in sunny San Diego. We explored the possibilities of OU Campus and our partnerships with our customers. On Monday night, we embarked on our very own harbor cruise around Mission Bay complete with dinner, drinks, dancing, and a photo booth. We continued our Hackathon tradition where attendees invented brand new creations. Our community enjoyed sun, sand, and surf in San Diego!

  • Biltmore

Los Angeles, CA

Our 2016 conference was held at the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. We got to bask in the nostalgia of old Hollywood as we spotlighted innovation at our 12th user conference. During the conference, we introduced several new additions to OU Campus that were met with exciting response. On Monday night, we traveled back in time to the 1920s at the Cicada Club, with dinner, drinks, entertainment, dancing, and networking. Attendees had a blast at our Hackathon, and had so much fun learning new things and being a part of our amazing community!

In 2015, the OU Campus crew took over the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach for a spectacular conference. Attendees enjoyed fabulous weather as snow storms wreaked havoc on the East and Midwest. During the Sunday night reception, guests ate delicious tacos from the famous Tamarindo Taco Truck as they listened to an authentic Caribbean steel drum band. On Monday night, attendees enjoyed a dinner cruise as they sailed across the Newport Harbor. The conference focused on exciting new OU Campus modules and gadgets and the extensibility now available through APIs. With over 250 people in attendance, it was our largest conference yet!

OUTC13 & OUTC14

  • OUTC13/OUTC14

Anaheim, CA

Both the 2013 and 2014 OmniUpdate User Training Conferences were held in beautiful Anaheim, California. In 2013, attendees were given a sneak peek of the early stages of OU Campus Version 10. The following year, 10 was a very significant number – We celebrated our 10th annual conference and we launched OU Campus v10. In addition to the incredible sessions and informative workshops, attendees were treated to an amazing trip to Disneyland in 2013 and a fun-filled excursion to Disneyland’s California Adventure in 2014.

OUTC11 & OUTC12

  • Universal

Universal City, CA

For two consecutive years, the OmniUpdate User Training Conference was held at the Universal Hilton, a location that borders the famous Universal CityWalk. Guests dined at local hotspots, and they loved participating in iFly skydiving, bowling, and karaoke. With the continual growth of conference attendees, we added additional tracks of training workshops to the schedule. The agenda for both conferences featured new strategies, techniques, and best practices with an increased focus on social media and mobile technology capabilities.

OUTC09 & OUTC10

  • OUTC09/OUTC10

Long Beach, CA

In 2009 and 2010, the OU Campus family gathered in Long Beach for two incredible conferences. In 2009, attendees enjoyed dinner on the historic Queen Mary ocean liner and visited the Aquarium of the Pacific. In 2010, they sailed across the Long Beach Harbor on a Hornblower dinner cruise. At both conferences, we shared new tools and technologies available and featured ways to maximize the value of OU Campus.

OUTC05 - OUTC08

  • OUTC05-08

Palm Springs, CA

The 1st annual OmniUpdate User Training Conference was held in Palm Springs, California. With a focus on OmniUpdate’s role in higher education, the event paved the road for future conferences. In 2006, the conference focused on the ways higher education websites can improve their marketing, recruiting, and advancement efforts. The next year's conference highlighted new technologies such as RSS and blogs. As we rounded out our four-year stint in Palm Springs, we concentrated on higher-ed specific CMS functionality. Feedback from the conference directly affected the product roadmap, and this practice continues today.
